Brass Queens

Brass Queens is a 9-piece brass band whose sound is deeply inspired by the music of New Orleans mixed with the flair of modern pop. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, the Brass Queens features an all-female horn section with the goal of expanding the space for women in a male-dominated industry. They regularly tour across the country and internationally, appearing on festival stages including the Telluride Jazz Festival, Ottawa Jazz Festival, Northlands Music Festival, MusikFest, and Exit Zero Jazz Festival. Brass Queens is a female-led, New York-based brass band that has been dominating the brass band scene since 2019.
